In the heart of the village of Turckheim the Musée-Mémorial bring together an exceptionnal collection of artifacts. Those objects tell us with an outstanding precision the story of the Colmar pocket battle. A unique collection
Since is creation in 1994 about 200 000 visitors came to discover the Musée-Mémorial. Among them many veterans associations and fellowships, students from whole France, veterans from various nationalities and individuals.Visit museum

August 15th 1944: the first units of general DE LATTRE’S B Army disembark in Saint-Tropez and make their way through the Rhône valley after having freed Toulon and Marseille.
